The SSM DePaul Health Center Foundation was established as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization in 1996 to reach out to the community and develop active participation in the ongoing mission of DePaul Health Center by providing opportunities to share personal resources in support of that ministry.

More of our neighbors’ lives are being saved today than ever before thanks to new technology, advances in medical training and proactive initiatives to preserve healthy lifestyles. Everyone deserves the best care and foundation gifts provide funding for programs and services that reach out to people in our community who otherwise would not have access to essential health care services.

Since its inception, Friends of the SSM DePaul Health Center Foundation provided more than $5 million to support:

• Trauma services
• Essential surgical tools for trauma patients
• Breast cancer prevention and early detection programs
• Creation of the Senior Specialty Center
• Immunizations for infants and children
• Transportation for doctor’s office visits for disabled and elderly patients
• Nursing retention and training programs
• Community health education . . . and much more.
